CHERRY DELIGHT

Preparation Method :

  • Combine flour, butter, brown sugar and coconut flakes in bowl.
  • Transfer it into a greased baking dish and press it well.
  • Bake it at 170°C for 10-12 minutes until the edges turn brown.
  • Pour the cherry pie filling on top of the just baked flour - sugar mixture.
  • Whisk the cheese cream with confectioner's sugar. Stir in the beaten eggs and vanilla essence.
  • Spread this mixture over the cherries evenly and refrigerate it.
  • Just before serving, remove it from the refrigerator and top it up with the chopped almond.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams cherry pie filling
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 75 grams cups all-purpose flour
  • 50 grams walnut/almond (chopped)
  • 50 grams brown sugar
  • 50 grams butter
  • 30 grams confectioner's sugar
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
