Preparation Method :

  • Cream the softened butter,sugar and egg in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt one after the other to the egg mixture.
  • Now add vanilla essence and milk. Blend it well with the remaining ingredients.
  • Pour the batter in greased baking tin of any shape which is available.
  • Bake it at 180°C for 15 minutes or until a knife inserted into centre comes out clean.
  • Remove it from the oven and cool it.
  • Cut heart shape small cakes with a cookie cutter.
  • Spread raspberry jam on a small heart shaped cake and cover it with another cake. Repeat the same with other remaining cakes.
  • Beat the cream until stiff and then add sugar, blend it well and mix red tulip colour to it .
  • Spread this on top of each prepared cake. Place a raspberry at the centre of each of the cake.
  • Arrange all the cakes on a tray and then serve it.


  • 200 grams self raising flour
  • 200 grams confectioner's sugar
  • 110 gramsunsalted butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 table spoons raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Pinch of Salt 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence


  • 120 ml whipped cream
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 6-7 raspberries
  • Pinch of pink / red tulip colour
