RASPBERRY HEART SCONES

Preparation Method :

  • Cream the softened butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in bowl. Add this to the sugar and butter mixture.
  • Genlty fold in the whipped cream and prepare the dough.
  • Take a portion of the dough on a floured surface and roll out for about ½ inch thickness.
  • Cut the scones using a heart shaped cookie cutter and place them on greased baking tray. Repeat the same with the remaining dough.
  • Bake at 190°C for at least 20 minutes. Allow it stand for 10 minutes.
  • Spread the raspberry jam on the flat surface of a cookie and top it up with another cookie. Repeat this step until all the cookies had been used.
  • Raspberry Heart Scones is ready to be served.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 ml whipping cream
  • 100 grams all purpose flour
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 25 grams raspberry jam
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
