Preparation Method :

  • Put the syrup, mint leaves, and lime juice in a glass. Crush the mint leaves and add to the glass.
  • Add ice and rum, then top up with soda water to taste. Finish with a dash of Angostura bitters and a mint leaf.


  • 100 ml Jamaican rum  
  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
  • A few mint leaves, plus more to garnish
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Ice crushed
  • Soda water
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
