Preparation Method :

  • For the filling:
  • Place all the ingredients for the filling in a container.
  • Mix it well with the wooden spoon and keep aside.
  • For the garnish:
  • Mix milk, flour and icing sugar together.
  • Cut a triangle of butter paper and pour the mixture into it.
  • Pipe lines of the mixture on a greased tray of 8-10 cm.
  • Bake it for 5 minutes in a preheat oven at 180°C.
  • When it turns a golden brown colour, roll it on a rolling pin and allow it to cool.
  • For the tart base:                                   
  • Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  • Break an egg, whisk it with 30 ml of water and keep aside.
  • In a bowl , add butter and  sugar and mix well.
  • Add the egg mixture, flour and knead it thoroughly to a smooth dough consistency.
  • Keep it in the fridge for ten minutes. Keep a 9" tart mould ready.
  • Divide the dough into two portions.
  • Start rolling one portion of the dough mix on the floured surface in to 3 mm thick, to the same shape of the tart mould.
  • After dusting it on top and bottom with flour, roll the tart dough on a rolling pin and press to fit the tart mould.
  • Layer the filling on top of the tart dough.
  • Roll out the other dough portion and make a covering for the filling.
  • Apply a glaze of the egg rinse .
  • Prick the top of the dough using a  fork or tooth pick.
  • Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  • Garnish with icing sugar triangles and serve.


  • 200 grams Butter
  • 100 grams Icing sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 300 grams Flour

For the filling

  • 4 apple, diced
  • 50 grams Almond powder
  • 20 grams Raisins
  • 2 pinch Cinnamon powder
  • 30 grams Apricot jam
  • 50 grams Brown sugar

For the Egg rinse

  • 1Egg
  • 30 ml Water

For the garnish

  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 grams Icing sugar
  • 100 grams Flour
