Preparation Method :

  • Mix the crushed biscuit with butter to form a crust. Put in a small pie dish with a loose base. Refrigerate for about 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Dissolve the coffee granules in liqueur. Cool. Blend the softened ice cream, liqueur and whipped cream well. Pour over the pie crust and freeze till set.
  • Sprinkle the top with grated chocolate and cherries.


  • 75 grams butter
  • 75 ml whipped cream
  • 2 teaspoon coffee granules
  • 1 tablespoon coffee flavoured liqueur / boiling water
  • 400 grams coffee ice cream
  • 10 digestive biscuits, coarse powder
  • Grated semi-sweet chocolate for topping
  • Glace cherries
