Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas mark 4.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring to combine. Remove from the heat. Stir in the sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and salt, stir until just combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9 inch tart tin. Arrange the white chocolate chips, pointy side down, in a pattern over the chocolate mixture
  • Bake for 20-22 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool and serve with whipped cream.


  • 220 grams granulated sugar
  • 100 grams unsweetened chocolate
  • 50 grams white chocolate chips
  • 75 grams plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
