Preparation Method :

  • Heat the cream with custard, orange rind and coffee together until almost boiling. Remove pan from heat.
  • Add chopped chocolate, stirring until chocolate melts. Cool and leave until starting to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon into small cups or glasses and chill at least for 2 hours to firm.
  • Top with a spoonful of whipped cream, then sprinkle with grated chocolate and serve.


  • 250 ml pouring custard
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
  • 2 tablespoon strong black coffee
  • 150 grams milk chocolate, chopped
  • 100 ml double cream
  • Extra whipped cream and grated plain chocolate, to decorate
