FIERY CHILLI DIP

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and glaze the onions in it for about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and the chilli, pepper and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the vinegar, sugar, salt and the bay leaves and let the whole thing simmer at medium heat for about 15-20 minutes while covered. 
  • Remove the bay leaves. Add the mustard powder and the tomato puree, allow to cool down. Stir the cream cheese until it is smooth and fold it into the mixture.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 150 grams onions, peeled and diced
  • 50 ml cooking oil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoon tomato puree
  • 100 ml brandy vinegar
  • 2-3 chillies, washed and cut into fine strips
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoon mustard powder
  • Salt, to taste
