Preparation Method :

  • Fill the pot with dried fish stock; add in all the ingredients except the dried bonito fish.
  • Boil over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat, then add the dried fish and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until aromatic. Remove and drain through a thin white cloth.
  • Add the bottled dip prepared in the previous step.


  • 200 grams ripe ginger with skin, grilled and thinly sliced
  • 500 grams diced onions
  • 200 grams carrots with skin, grilled and thinly sliced
  • 50 grams dried bonito fish
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams shoyu sauce
  • 500 grams dried fish stock
  • 5 tablespoons sake
