Preparation Method :

  • Add all the ingredients, except the water and salt and pepper, into a food processor and process to form a smooth paste.
  • Blend slowly in the hot water to give a dipping consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220 grams dried chickpeas, drained
  • 145 grams tahini paste
  • 75 ml virgin olive oil
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 25 ml hot water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Carrot sticks, celery sticks, and cucumber sticks, to serve
