Preparation Method :

  • Marinade: Wash coriander well and shake dry. Cut off roots and green stems and chop roughly, keep the green sprigs aside.
  • Except chicken place all the ingredients with vegetable oil in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Place chicken in a bowl, pour over marinade, toss well to combine and set aside to stand for 1 hour.
  • Place chicken on a foil- lined grill rack and cook under a preheated medium grill for 5 minutes each side or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve chicken on bed of boiled rice, crisp lettuce cups and sliced cucumber, garnish with coriander sprigs.


  • 1 kg boneless chicken breast or thigh fillets
  • Coriander Marinade
  • 75 ml IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Coriander, roots, Stem and leaves
  • Coriander sprigs, to garnish
  • 4 garlic cloves
