BEEF ON SKEWERS WITH PEARS & WHISKY

Beef on skewers with peers and whisky – that is a perfect match! You and your family will deeply enjoy this excellent menu because of its extra ingredients. This dish is combined with warmed honey, fillet of beef, whisky, nutmeg and other flavorings.

1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Toss the beef and put it into a large clean bowl with rest of the ingredients.
  • Leave to marinate for 4 hours, turning every 30 minutes.
  • Thread the beef, pears and shallots alternately onto 6 metal skewers.
  • Grill it for 2 minutes on each side on a preheated grill.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams fillet of beef, cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 2 large pears, peeled, cored and cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 10 shallots, peeled and halved 
  • 140 ml whisky
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon clear warmed honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
