ITALIAN SAUSAGES AND SWEET PEPPERS

The combination of Italian sausages and sweet peppers is one of the best grilled recipes suited for all. With its appetizing ingredients, you will surely tempt to crave for more bites. You can prepare this dish instantly through following its guidelines and tips.

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat a grill pan over medium heat until very hot.
  • Pierce each of the sausages through at right angles with two wooden skewers that have been soaked in water for about 5 -6 minutes.
  • Brush the pepper strips with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper.
  • Place the sausages and peppers in the hot pan, make sure not to crowd them. Using tongs, turn the peppers often.
  • Turn the sausages after about 5-6 minutes when they are nicely marked by the ridges of the pan.
  • Continue cooking for another 5 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the sausages are crisp and firm.
  • Remove from the pan; eat inside a sandwich, over pasta, or on its own with lemon wedges.

  • 1 pound fresh Italian sausage
  • 1 red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced lengthwise into 1/4-inch strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced lengthwise into ΒΌ -inch strips
