Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the fish with salt and the ground paste for about an hour.
  • Heat some oil in a pan, add curry leaves and fry for about 20 seconds. Drop in the fish and fry on both sides till done.
  • Remove from the flame, drain and serve sprinkled with lemon juice.


  • 500 grams Fish, cleaned, head cut, rinsed and drained    
  • 3 teaspoon Lemon juice    
  • IDHAYAM Mantra peanut oil for fry
  • Few Curry leaves    
  • Salt to taste

Grind to a fine paste

  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • Red chillies, to taste    
  • 1" piece Ginger    
  • 6 cloves Garlic
