Preparation Method :

  • Season trout with salt and black pepper.
  • Mix the butter, spring onions, parsley and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Spoon mixture into cavity of each trout.
  • Cook trout under a preheated medium grill for 5 minutes on each side or until flesh flakes.
  • Arrange on a warm serving dish, garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately.


  • 500 grams trout, cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • Freshly ground black pepper and Salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Juice of ½ lemon
