MARINATED GRILLED PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the prawns with the yogurt mixture in large bowl. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
  • Grill the prawns until tender, brush with marinade occasionally during cooking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg large uncooked prawns, cleaned, dried, heads and legs removed, leaving tails and body shells intact

Blend to Smooth Paste

  • 150 grams brown onion, chopped
  • 100 grams plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
