HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Melt butter and chocolate over low heat.
  • Add icing sugar, cream and salt and stir-cook over low heat till it reaches boiling point.
  • Add rum on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot on Vanilla Ice Cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 ml / 6 oz / 1 cup thin cream
  • 100 grams / 4 oz / ¾ cup unsweetened chocolate
  • 25 grams / 1 oz / 2 tablespoon butter
  • 150 grams / 6 oz / 1 cup shifted icing sugar
  • 50 ml / 2 oz / 3 tablespoon dark rum
  • A pinch of salt
