MANGO ICE CREAM WITH PAPAYA

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Puree the mangoes and papaya with lemon juice in a blender until smooth. Keep it aside.
  • Combine the egg yolks and sugar and cook in a double boiler until mixture is thick. Remove from heat and beat lightly for about 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Gently fold in the mango puree into the egg mixture. Blend in the cream.
  • Pour into ice trays and freeze for at least 3 - 4 hours.
  • Scoop out ice cream balls. Garnish with fresh mango slices and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 100 grams icing sugar
  • 120 ml thick cream, whipped
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 mangoes, Peel, seed and sliced
  • 1 small papaya, Peel, seed and chopped
