Mango Ice Cream is a healthy refreshing dessert of Creamy,rich and fruity flavor.This Homemade mango ice cream is an easy recipe to Prepare.Good for Summer.
Serves :

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the cream in a pan upto boiling point.
  • Beat the egg yolks and sugar well and pour the hot cream over them.
  • Then place it into a double boiler and cook over simmering till it coats the back of a spoon.
  • Strain and cool.
  • Add the mango puree to the custard mixture. Whip 2 cups of cream till it forms soft peaks and fold into the mango-custard mixture.
  • Transfer to a freezer container and cover the top and allow to freeze until half set.
  • Remove and whisk the contents until combined thoroughly and freeze until firm.
  • Half an hour before serving, place the freezer container on the lower shelf of the fridge to help soften the ice cream slightly.
  • Scoop out ice cream into ice cream cups and serve.


  • 150 grams fresh mango puree
  • 150 ml cream   
  • 140 ml thin cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoon castor sugar
