Preparation Method :

  • Sieve the apricot jam through a coarse sieve in order to remove any apricot peel pieces .
  • Add a little warm water and place over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare two oval plates.
  • Peel and cut in halves the bananas crosswise and place the two pieces in the middle of each plate.
  • Put 2 scoops of ice cream on each and spoon the jam over them.
  • Decorate with whipped cream and garnish with shredded and toasted almonds.


  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 100 ml thick whipped cream
  • 4 scoops of ice cream
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon shredded, toasted almonds for garnish
