STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Puree the strawberries along with the lemon juice and castor sugar in a blender.
  • Beat the cream till soft peaks form and fold into the puree.
  • Put in freezer containers and freeze for about 10 - 12 hours.
  • Remove from freezer and blend again to remove any ice crystals.
  • Freeze again and defrost before serving.
  • Scoop into ice cream bowls and serve garnished with strawberries.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 ml cream
  • 75 grams caster sugar 
  • 250 grams fresh strawberries, Rinsed, Drained and cut into small into chunks. 
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • A few whole strawberries for garnish
