Preparation Method :

  • Beat together the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla essence until thick.
  • Whip in the cream till thick and leave it aside.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Fold the creamed yolks into the whipped cream.
  • Add the candied peel and finally fold in the beaten egg whites.
  • Pour into an ice tray, cover with foil and leave to set for 2 hours or a little more.


  • 2 tablespoon chopped candied peel
  • 150 ml thick cream
  • 2 tablespoon castor sugar
  • Few drops of vanilla essence
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 egg yolks
