Preparation Method :

  • Combine all the ingredients except essence and cream. Stir briskly.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring all the time until it coats the back of the spoon. Strain and cool.
  • Add vanilla essence and cream and whip well.
  • Pour into an ice cream mould and freeze.


  • 750 ml thick cream
  • 2 slightly beaten egg yolks
  • 175 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 150 ml scalded milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
