BEEF AND CHEESE CAKE

If you’re looking for a new favourite this recipe is perfect for you. The BEEF AND CHEESE CAKE recipe has the power to twist your tongue because of the cheesiness taste. So easy to prepare and the ingredients are so easy to find.

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the butter and fry the beef briskly until it changes color, stirring and breaking up the lumps with a fork.
  • Add the onion, mustard and cumin and fry for 3 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  • Beat the eggs and water together and add 600 gram of the cheese. Stir this mixture into the pan, spread out evenly and press down.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Put a lid on the pan and cook over a moderate heat for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the lid, put a plate over the pan and turn the meat cake out on to the plate, then reverse on to another plate.
  • Serve cut into wedges, with crusty bread and mixed salad.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams butter
  • 450 grams lean minced beef
  • 2 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 teaspoons dry mustard 
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 700 grams semi-hard cheese, grated
