Preparation Method :

  • Mix the finely chopped garlic with the butter and rub half of it into the steak.
  • Season it with plenty of freshly ground black pepper and a little salt.
  • Place the steaks on an oiled, preheated grill.
  • Cook and seal on both sides, then baste slowly with the garlic butter until cooked


  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and very finely chopped    
  • 550 grams Chateaubriand steaks
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 100 grams fresh unsalted English butter, softened
