Get a perfect meat recipe with special goulash This dish is filled with tasty ingredients that add up to your cooking dish. It is cooked with rump steak, butter, tomato puree, parsley and other added seasonings that make the dish more palatable and appetizing.

2 hours 20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 3/l70°C/325°F.
  • Toss the meat in the seasoned flour, generously.
  • Heat the oil and butter in a flameproof casserole, and then fry the onion, shallots and peppers for 3 minutes.
  • Add the meat and cook for further 4 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and rosemary, add the tomato puree, beef stock, claret and chopped tomatoes
  • Cover and cook in the centre of the oven for 2 hours.
  • Remove the casserole from the oven and leave it for 4 minutes.
  • Add the soured cream, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.


  • 1 kg rump steak, cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 75 grams of flour, seasoned with salt, freshly ground black pepper and 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 25 grams butter
  • 1 peeled and sliced onion
  • 500 grams shallots, peeled
  • 1 red and 1 green pepper, de-seeded and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crushed fresh rosemary leaves
  • 4 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 250 ml Basic Beef Stock
  • 150 ml claret
  • 450 grams tin chopped tomatoes
  • 200 ml soured cream
  • A sprig of parsley
