LAMB CHOPS WITH LEMON

If you wish for a grilled meat dish, try to cook the lemon chops. In this recipe, the lamb meat is marinated on the mixed oil, spices and something sour added with the muscovado sugar and black pepper. Visit the website above for full information.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the chops into a shallow dish. Mix together the oil, lemon rind and juice, sugar and ginger and pour over the chops.
  • Cover and leave to marinate in a cool place for 3 hours, turning the chops over occasionally.
  • Transfer the chops to a grill rack and brush with the marinade.
  • Cook under a preheated grill for 15 minutes, turning the chops 2 or 3 times and basting them frequently.
  • Garnish with parsley sprigs.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 lamb chops, trimmed of fat
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Grated rind of 2 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons Muscovado sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Parsley sprigs, to garnish
