Preparation Method :

  • To Make Butter: Combine butter with anchovies, garlic, parsley and lemon juice and chill until firm.
  • Season lamb chops with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Brush chops with melted butter and cook in a frying pan over a medium heat for 3 - 5 minutes on each side or until cooked.
  • Arrange the lamb on a serving platter, top with curls of butter and serve with steamed potatoes.


  • 1 kg lamb chops
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 kg new potatoes, steamed
  • Freshly ground black pepper and Salt, to taste
  • Piquant Butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 50 grams butter
  • 2 anchovy fillets, mashed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
