Start to change your appetite through beef with peppers & blackbean sauce. This dish includes best British beef, wine and of its added spicy elements. Because of the mild taste of chili, the menu arouses its aroma and bets suited for your lunch or dinner.

Preparation Time :
1 hour 20 minutes

Cooking Time :
50 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Slice the beef into thin strips place them in a clean bowl add a pinch of salt and corn flour, and cover it with water.
  • Leave to stand atleast for 40 minutes.
  • Heat half the oil in a wok or deep frying pan and stir-fry the beef for 3 minutes.
  • Transfer the beef to a warm serving dish and clean the wok or pan.
  • Reheat the wok or pan using the remaining oil.
  • Add garlic, black bean sauce, green and red peppers, chillies, mushrooms, onion and spring onion.
  • Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, then add the beef.
  • Add the seasoning ingredients.
  • Fry for 3 minutes, thicken it with a little more cornflour if needed , then serve.


  • 400 grams topside of best British beef
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
  • 170 grams green pepper, cut into strips
  • 50 grams red pepper, cut into strips
  • 50 grams hot red chillies, finely chopped
  • 100 grams of wiped and sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 50 grams spring onion, washed and chopped

For the seasoning

  • 400 grams teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Basic Beef Stock
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour, blended with little rice wine
