FARMHOUSE BEEF AND SWEET CORN STEW

This is a one of a kind recipe that can give you a tasteful delight for everybody. This is the Farmhouse beef and sweet corn stew. And this is an example of a healthy treat for everybody. And it is so easy to prepare, and you can serve it within 8 people. You can prepare it for only 40 minutes, and cook it within 2 hours and that’s it you’re done.

Preparation Method :

  • Melt the margarine in a flameproof casserole, add the meat and brown on all sides.
  • Add the onions and carrot and cook for about 5 minutes. Gradually add the stock, blending well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and the paprika.
  • Cover and cook in a preheated moderate oven for 1 to 1½ hours or until the beef is tender.
  • Add the sweet corn with the can juice, mixing well. Cover and cook for a further 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the tomato puree, blending well. Reheat gently on top of the cooker but do not allow to boil.
  • Add the yogurt.
  • Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 grams margarine
  • 750 grams stewing steak, trimmed of fat and cubed
  • 4 large onions, peeled and chopped
  • 2 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 liter stock
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 750 grams sweet corn
  • 100 grams tomato puree
  • 300 ml plain low-fat yogurt
