STROGANOFF WITH SLICED ROAST POTATOES & MANGETOUT

Find an ideal dish through stronganoff with sliced roast potatoes and mangetout. Preparation is made simpler for every fascinated cook because of its components and procedures. Its menu ingredients are not too hard to find and it perfectly suited for any gatherings and other exciting events.

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Flatten the steak slices with a wooden mallet or rolling pin and season them well with freshly ground black pepper and nutmeg.
  • Heat the butter in a large frying pan and cook the shallots for 5 minutes.
  • Add beef and cook for further 5 minutes.
  • Then add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Season it with salt and little more nutmeg, add beef stock and soured cream, cook it for 1 more minute, and serve it with the sliced roast potatoes and blanched mangetout.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg rump steak, cut into 1cm thick slices
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Freshly grated nutmeg (to taste)
  • 50 grams best British butter
  • 8 shallots, peeled and sliced
  • 250 grams button mushrooms, wiped and sliced
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Basic Beef Stock
  • 250 ml soured cream
  • 500 grams potatoes, sliced and roasted in beef dripping
  • 250 grams mangetout, blanched
