Are you tired thinking of a meal that you will bring on your out of town trip with your family this summer? Try preparing this Lamb cutlet with lemon rice and you will surely enjoy this memorable vacation trip with your family.

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice in plenty of boiling salted water, adding a piece of lemon peel.
  • Meanwhile rub the garlic into the lamb, sprinkle with salt and pepper and brush with oil. Cook under a preheated moderate grill (broiler) for 15 minutes, turning once.
  • Grate the rind from the lemon and squeeze the juice. Drain the rice, rinse with hot water and drain. Stir in the grated lemon rind, juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spoon into a warmed serving dish and arrange the lamb on top.
  • Garnish with watercress and grilled halved tomatoes. 


  • 300 grams long grain rice 
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed 
  • 8 lamb cutlets 
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil


  • Watercress
  • Tomato halves
