Preparation Method :

  • Mix all the ingredients except the lemon juice and marinate the lamb at least for 8-10 hours, in the fridge. Bring back to room temperature. Discard the marinade.
  • Thread the cubes on to soaked wooden skewers and place on a preheated barbecue or under a preheated grill.
  • Cook for about 5-10 minutes under the grill or until tender.
  • Sprinkle with the garam masala, drizzle over the lemon juice and serve hot.


  • 500 grams lean boned lamb, cut into ½ inch cubes and pierced with a fork
  • ¾ teaspoon garam masala
  • Juice of 1 lemon    


  • ¾ cup low-fat yogurt, beaten    
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • Red chilli powder, to taste
  • ½ small onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon of fennel seeds
  • Freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste
  • 12 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
