HONEY-GINGER LAMB

From the name of the recipe which is honey-ginger lamb, this meat dish is prepared with the mixed ingredients like honey and lemon juice, added some spices and soy sauce in which that this ingredients makes the dish be delicious and tasty.

30 minutes

Cooking Time :
50 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Weigh the meat to calculate the required cooking time. Lamb should be roasted for 25 minutes.
  • Roast the meat in a preheated hot oven for the first 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the warmed honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, cloves and ginger, then baste the meat with the mixture.
  • Turn the oven down to moderate and roast the meat for the remaining required time, basting and turning it frequently.
  • Place the meat on a serving dish. Skim the pan juices and add stock or vegetable water to make gravy.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boned shoulder of lamb, trimmed of fat and rolled
  • 250 grams warmed honey
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Idhayam Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger stock or vegetable water for gravy
