LAMB IN MINT JELLY

Lamb in mint jelly is indeed somehow creates curiosity at the back of your mind. For those who are unfamiliar in kitchen, you might wonder how lamb meat and jelly would taste like. Aspic would explain it properly. It is a dish you’ll find unusual but definitely will make you crazy.

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Arrange the lamb slices on a flat serving dish. Make up the aspic according to packet directions.
  • Leave in a cool place until the liquid is thick and syrupy.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and stir in the sherry and mint.
  • Spoon over the lamb slices very carefully so that the meat is evenly covered.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours until set.
  • Serve with salad. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams lean cooked lamb, thinly sliced
  • 2 packet aspic jelly powder, to set 1 liter liquid
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground white pepper
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 4 tablespoons chopped mint
