LAMB ROLL DIJON

Are you sick on the typical dinner on your mom’s table? Try this unique Lamb roll Dijon. This is just easy to prepare and you will receive a big hug and kiss from your mom. Try this also on her birthday and it is sure that she will thank you for this recipe.

45 minutes

Cooking Time :
2 hours 30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the meat on a rack in a roasting pan. Mix together the remaining ingredients except the water, and spread all over the lamb.
  • Allow to stand for 1 hour at room temperature.
  • Add the water to the pan and roast the meat in a preheated moderate oven (160°C/325°F, Gas Mark 3) for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
  • Allow to rest for 20 minutes, then serve the meat cut in thick slices with the heated pan juices.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 kg boned shoulder of lamb, rolled
  • 8 tablespoons Dijon mustard 
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoon dried rosemary 
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 600 ml water
