ORANGE GLAZED LAMB

Orange Glazed lamb is a delicious dish with a fruity taste. This dish is suited on a hot summer season. You only need to prepare fewer ingredients for this type of dish. Your friends will enjoy the fruity taste dish that you will prepare for them.

1 hour 30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place lamb in a roasting pan. Mix together the orange juice, marmalade, lemon juice and pepper to taste and spread over the lamb.
  • Cook in a preheated moderate oven (160°C/325°F, Gas Mark 3) for 1 ½ hours, basting frequently with the pan juices (add a little water if the liquid evaporates too much).
  • Serve the meat cut into slices, with gravy made from the pan juices.
  • Serve with roast potatoes and a green vegetable.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 kg shoulder of lamb, boned and rolled 
  • 250 ml orange juice 
  • 300 grams orange marmalade 
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice 
  • Freshly ground pepper
