BRAISED LIVER

Braised liver has a soothing taste because of the Worcestershire sauce. It also fit to your fruity taste because of it has apples and sliced onion. The tomato juice gives the sweet taste and creates a juicy meat. Braised liver is easy to serve. You can add freshly ground black pepper to enhance the smell.

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the liver in a casserole dish. Add the apple and sliced onion.
  • Pour in the tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and add salt and pepper.
  • Cover and cook in a preheated moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve immediately while piping hot with potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams chicken livers or lambs' liver, cut into pieces
  • 2 large cooking apple, cored and cut into chunks
  • 100 gram onion, peeled and sliced
  • 500 ml tomato juice
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
