LIVER CHILI

Liver chili is one of the dishes that can be your favourite. It has spicy sauce that can raise your appetite. You can serve it for your family, surely your children will love it. You can serve it to catch the heart of your love ones.

1 hour 40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Drain the beans, rinse and cover with cold water.
  • Bring to the boil and boil rapidly for 10 minutes, reduce heat and simmer for 35 to 45 minutes until tender. Drain and rinse.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the liver and garlic and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chili powder and flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the tomatoes with their juice, salt, pepper and cumin.
  • Bring to the boil, add the beans, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Transfer to a warmed serving dish and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams red kidney beans, soaked overnight
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 onion, peeled and sliced
  • 100 grams mushrooms, wiped and finely chopped
  • 750 grams lambs' liver, trimmed and finely chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 teaspoons plain whole meal flour
  • 1 kilogram tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Parsley, to garnish
