Preparation Method :

  • Drizzle the bread crumbs with the milk in a small bowl. Combine the meat with the bread crumbs, egg, and parsley in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Shape into meatballs. Push a piece of cheese into the center of each one, sealing the meat around it.
  • Put the flour on a plate and dredge the meatballs in it. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and sauté until browned all over, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer until the meatballs are tender and cooked through, 20 minutes. Serve hot.


  • 150 grams fresh bread crumbs
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 kg lean ground (minced) beef
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 200 grams mild firm cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 50 grams all-purpose (plain) flour
  • 100 grams butter
  • 150 ml dry white wine
