SPICY MEATBALLS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and saute until softened, 5 minutes.
  • Mix the beef and pork in a bowl. Add the onion mixture. Stir in the chillis, salt, pepper, mustard, paprika, ginger, bread crumbs, parsley, and egg and mix well using your hands. Shape into about 20 small meatballs.
  • Heat the remaining 3 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the meatballs until golden and cooked through, 10 minutes. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 large onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 500 grams ground (minced) beef
  • 300 grams ground (minced) pork
  • 4chillis, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoon hot paprika
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 4 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 large egg, beaten
