Preparation Method :

  • In a pressure cooker, add the meat, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and turmeric along with 3 cups of water and cook for 5-6 whistles or till the meat is well cooked and tender.
  •  After the pressure is released, separate the pieces of meat and water.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. When the oil is well heated, add the cooked mutton pieces and fry for at least 10 minutes, stirring a few times, till the meat begins to get crispy.
  • Sprinkle the garam masala powder onto the fried meat, adjust the salt and chilli if needed, stir well. Serve hot with wedges of lime and slices of onion.


  • 1 kg Mutton boneless pieces
  • 50 grams Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 5 large sized , sliced Onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 3 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 100 ml Cooking oil
  • Fresh Cilantro to garnish
