Preparation Method :

  • Grind coarsely the coriander leaves, pepper seeds, cloves and cinnamon, coriander powder, tomato, ½ onion, green chillies and keep aside.
  • Pour oil in a cooker add ½ chopped onion and fry till the onion turns pink.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes then Add mutton pieces and fry till the color changes.
  • Add the grinded masala and mix well and fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 glass of water and salt and mix well.
  • Add the potato cubes and close the cooker for 5 or 6 whistles or until the mutton is cooked.
  • When the cooker calms down open and serve.
  • The Above Recipe can be done with chicken Instead of mutton.


  • 500 grams mutton
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Teaspoons coriander powder
  • 2 large potatoes cut into big cubes
  • 2 Teaspoons whole pepper
  • 6 or more green chillies
  • 1 small bunch of fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 small tomato
  • 2 cloves and 1 inch piece cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • ½ glass of water
  • Salt to taste
