The taste of Yorkshire pudding is extremely delicious and awfully loves by millions of people. This special dish can completely change your daily food servings. If you want some mouth-watering dish, take the chance to prepare this meal for the whole family.

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt into a large basin.
  • Break the egg into a saucer and then place the egg in the centre of the flour, whisking enough milk and water to get a beating consistency. Beat well and leave to stand for atleast 30 minutes.
  • Heat the oven to Gas Mark 7/220°C/425°F.
  • For small puddings, use 6 x 2.5cm bun trays and put a knob of dripping into each indentation.
  • Place the tray in the oven until the fat is smoking hot. One large tin may also be used.
  • Meanwhile, add the rest of the milk and water to make a batter. If making small puddings, take the bun tray from the oven and put 2 tablespoons batter into each indentation.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes. Or use a large tin, bake for 30 minutes, then cut the pudding into portions.


  • 150 grams plain flour 
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • 1 large egg
  • 150 ml full-cream milk, mixed with 150ml water
  • Dripping or cooking fat
