BRAISED VEAL SHANK

The Braised Veal Shank is one of the best dishes in some exclusive and highly sophisticated restaurant. If you can avail the cost of this dish, you can also prepare it at home. All you have to do is to follow the recipes you can find in the page.

Preparation Method :

  • Flour, salt and pepper the slices of veal shank. Brown them in oil for 10 minutes in your pressure cooker.
  • Cut the vegetables into fairly large pieces and arrange them around the meat. Brown them slightly, adding thyme and bay leaf. Add the two glasses of water.
  • Close and cook for 34 minutes on a low fire from the pressure cooker hissing. Arrange on a serving dish and strain the cooking juices over the meat through a fine sieve.
  • Serve with boiled potatoes

  • 50 grams flour 
  • 4 slices veal shank 
  • 3 tomatoes 
  • 2 good-sized onions 
  • 1 carrot 
  • 1 celery stick 
  • 1 spring thyme 
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 100 ml peanut oil 
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 glasses water
