Mock Cheese and Tomato Fondue is such a perfect dish that you can prepare for your family and friends! It simply has its good taste that can fit to anyone’s taste! For sure you would love the idea of having this dish be served to your family and friends!

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
7 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place all the ingredients except the sherry in a 1.25 litres / 2¼ pt / 5½ cups glass or pottery dish.
  • Cook, uncovered, on Defrost for 7 minutes, stirring three or four times, until the fondue is smoothly thickened.
  • Remove from the microwave and stir in the sherry. Eat with pieces of warm ciabatta bread.


  • 250 grams mature Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 125 grams Lancashire or Wensleydale cheese, crumbled
  • 300 ml condensed tomato soup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • A dash of hot pepper sauce
  • 3 tablespoons dry sherry Warmed ciabatta bread, to serve
