Preparation Method :

  • Cut small strawberries in half and large ones into quarters. Do not wash raspberries but 'pick over' to check for and remove bugs. Leave raspberries whole.
  • Place berries and lemon juice in a large microwavable bowl, cover and cook on High for 5 - 7 minutes or until fruit is pulpy.
  • Stir in sugar and pectin and cook, uncovered for 4 minutes, stir, then cook for another 2 minutes .
  • Stir in the rosewater and pour conserve into hot sterilized jars. Seal when cold.


  • 500 grams mixture of strawberries or raspberries,  Wash strawberries, drain well and hull
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 500 grams sugar
  • 3 teaspoons pectin
  • 1 tablespoon rosewater
