CAPE GOOSEBERRY CONSERVE

Makes :
2 Cups

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
11 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place gooseberries, lemon juice and orange flower water in a large microwavable jug, cover and cook on High for 6 minutes or until fruit is pulpy.
  • Stir in sugar and pectin and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal when cold.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gramscape gooseberries, Washed, dried and cut in half 
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange flower water
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pectin
