Preparation Method :

  • Place the fruits in a 6 cup bowl. Stir in the water and sugar. Cover and leave it to soak for at least 3 hours.
  • Transfer to the microwave and cook on Full for about 20 - 22 minutes or until the fruit turns tender. Stir in the lemon peel and serve warm with thick yoghurt.


  • 250 grams mixed dried fruits, Washed
  • 250 ml boiling water
  • 50 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon peel
  • Thick plain yoghurt, to serve
